The house was quiet. Too quiet.

Aarav had never noticed how suffocating silence could be until now. The air hung heavy, thick with an ache he couldn’t name, yet it clung to his bones like an unbearable weight. The walls, once alive with the faint hum of her presence, now stood hollow and cold, as if they, too, mourned her absence. Ishaani was gone. Not just from the room, not just from the house—but from his life. And the realization clawed at him, tearing open wounds he hadn’t known existed.
